Senior Sales Associate

The Position:

• To support the Sales Director - NGO and the VP Global New Business Development - NGO in all aspects of account acquisition and identify new business opportunities through thorough research and by ensuring maximum effectiveness of internal processes and communication to guarantee optimum service to clients, producers and business partners.
• To support Consultants across Europe, US, APAC and ME in all aspects of account acquisition and identify new business opportunities through thorough research and by ensuring maximum effectiveness of internal processes and communication to guarantee optimum service to clients, producers and business partners.
• To work together with the US based Sales Associates to synchronize and leverage mutual new business efforts.                                                                                                                                                                                                         

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide diligent research to identify possible new leads.
• Building a global prospect data base.
• Place outbound calls to promote products/services, secure appointments and new business.
• Participate in ad hoc research projects and mailing campaigns.
• Carry out competitor analysis on a yearly basis providing feedback to Product Development and Sales and updating competitor databank.
• Answer prospect/broker enquiries and resolve any issues.
• Take ownership of quotations by ensuring internal processes are followed and deadlines are met.
• Prepare and issue new business proposals to Sales Consultants specification.
• Track sales activity within Salesforce.com i.e. managing the opportunity pipe line.
• Liaise with Client Management Executives to ensure smooth implementation of new business
• Carry out other ad hoc tasks as required to meet business needs.
• Represent CIEB at events, seminars, etc.

Required Experience, Skills and Competencies:

• 2 years experience in a sales support environment.
• Used to meeting tight deadlines and managing priorities.
• Sales/Healthcare background preferred (not essential).
• English and Maths qualification.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.
• PC Skill (Excel, word and Power point).
• Interpersonal skills/telephone manner.
• Self motivated.
• Ability to take ownership.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Basic communication skills - letter, email, telephone/oral.
• Keyboard skills.
• Basic Microsoft applications - outlook, word.
• Basic system navigation skills - Euronet, network drives.
• Job specific product information.

• Regulatory awareness.
